professional email, file storage, collaboration, and communication
subscription for small and medium-sized organizations. This Innovation

Business Basic is designed for organizations with up to 300 users.
It includes web and mobile applications but does not include the fully
installed desktop versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Companies requiring installed desktop applications should review
Microsoft 365 Business Standard or another suitable Microsoft licence.

This package includes Microsoft Teams for workplace chat, audio and
video calls, online meetings, file collaboration, and team communication.
Teams meetings under eligible Microsoft 365 Business subscriptions can
support up to 300 participants.
Available meeting capabilities can vary according to the licence,
tenant configuration, Microsoft service updates, administrator policies,
and any additional Teams licences or add-ons assigned to the user.
Users receive web and mobile access to Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. These applications support document
creation, spreadsheets, presentations, email, calendars, and notes
through compatible browsers and mobile devices.
Business Basic does not include the full locally installed desktop
Office applications. Users who require offline desktop versions should
consider Business Standard, Business Premium, or Microsoft 365 Apps for
business.
Microsoft Exchange Online allows employees to use professional email
addresses connected to the company domain, such as
employee@company.com. The platform also provides business calendars,
contacts, administrative controls, and email-security functions.

confirmed in the tenant, quotations and client communication should
avoid guaranteeing that the 100 GB capacity is already active.
Each licensed user receives 1 TB of OneDrive cloud storage for business
files. Employees can store, access, synchronize, edit, and share files
from supported devices according to the company’s permissions and
administrator policies.
OneDrive storage is assigned per licensed user. It should not be
confused with Exchange mailbox storage or the organization’s shared
SharePoint storage.
SharePoint supports team sites, shared documents, internal information,
collaborative folders, and business resources. It can be used together
with Teams and OneDrive to organize files and information across
departments and projects.
Access permissions, sharing policies, external collaboration, version
history, retention, and storage management should be configured
according to the organization’s operating and security requirements.
Microsoft 365 Business Basic includes access to more than ten additional
Microsoft applications and cloud services. These can include Microsoft
Bookings, Planner, Forms, Lists, and other tools available under the
current subscription.
Microsoft Bookings can support appointment scheduling, Planner can help
teams manage tasks, and Forms can be used to create surveys,

Eligible Microsoft 365 Business users receive secure AI-powered chat
capabilities. Copilot Chat can assist with research, drafting,
summarization, idea development, and other supported tasks.
This included AI chat should not be confused with Microsoft 365 Copilot
Business, which is a separate paid licence that provides deeper
integration with supported Microsoft 365 applications and
organizational data.
Microsoft 365 Business Basic provides core identity and access
management for organizations with up to 300 users. Administrators can
create users, assign licences, manage sign-in access, reset passwords,
and configure supported security settings.
Multifactor authentication should be enabled where appropriate.
Administrators should also review inactive users, privileged roles,
recovery methods, external access, and account-security reports
regularly.
Microsoft 365 includes spam and malware filtering for Exchange Online
mailboxes. Microsoft also announced URL time-of-click protection as

subscription price per licensed user, including VAT. Because Microsoft
updated Business Basic pricing effective July 1, 2026, the current
reseller price must be reconfirmed before publication, quotation, or
renewal.
Innovation Planet provides Microsoft 365 packages under an annual
subscription commitment. The minimum order for Microsoft 365 packages
is five users unless a different quantity is approved in writing.
Domain registration, DNS hosting, migration, additional storage,
premium Microsoft licences, paid Copilot licences, third-party software,
and technical work are not automatically included unless clearly stated
in the official quotation.
